Velassaru Maldives is seeking a talented and guest-oriented Guest Experience Host to join its dynamic Front Office team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about hospitality, highly organized, and capable of creating memorable guest experiences through proactive service and attention to detail.
As a Guest Experience Host, you will serve as the key link between guests and the resort’s operations, ensuring that every aspect of their stay exceeds expectations. Key Responsibilities
As a Guest Experience Host at Velassaru Maldives, your responsibilities will include:
- Meet and greet all guests during their stay, ensuring at least two personal interactions and daily courtesy calls.
- Conduct guest check-ins and check-outs following Velassaru standards and Small Luxury Hotels (SLH) procedures.
- Record and manage guest feedback using the Courtesy Call Log, ensuring prompt action and follow-up.
- Update and track guest preferences and service issues in the Opera (or Fidelio) PMS system.
- Coordinate with departments across the resort to ensure seamless guest experiences.
- Maintain a polished professional image, upholding grooming and uniform standards at all times.
- Resolve guest concerns efficiently, ensuring satisfaction while upholding the resort’s service philosophy.
Qualifications and Skills Required
To be successful in this role, candidates should meet the following requirements:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a Front Office or Guest Relations role within a luxury resort environment.
- Proficiency in Opera (or Fidelio) PMS and standard office software packages.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting.
- Excellent interpersonal communication and customer service skills.
- Fluent in verbal and written English.
- Highly motivated, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering excellence.
