Alila Kothaifaru Maldives is seeking a skilled and creative Digital Marketing and Social Media Manager to lead its digital presence across multiple platforms. The ideal candidate will combine strategic thinking, creativity, and data-driven insights to attract, engage, and convert luxury travelers. This role emphasizes e-commerce strategy and operations to drive online sales, enhance user experience, and maximize revenue growth.
Reporting to the Director of Sales & Marketing, and in coordination with the Marketing, Communications, and PR Manager, this position is pivotal in shaping the resort’s online brand identity and delivering measurable business results.
Key Responsibilities
As the Digital Marketing and Social Media Manager, your responsibilities will include:
- Developing and implementing digital marketing, social media, and e-commerce strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Leading online sales initiatives to increase direct bookings and optimize the customer journey.
- Planning and managing paid media, SEO/SEM, and performance marketing campaigns to maximize visibility and ROI.
- Monitoring KPIs, analyzing performance data, and providing actionable insights through regular reports.
- Managing content creation, campaigns, and influencer collaborations to highlight the resort’s unique experiences.
- Overseeing the annual online marketing budget to ensure cost efficiency and effective allocation of resources.
- Collaborating with Marketing, Communication, PR, Sales, and F&B teams to align campaigns with promotions and key events.
Qualifications and Skills Required
To excel in this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications and skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, E-Commerce, Communications, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of proven experience in digital marketing and e-commerce, preferably in luxury hospitality.
- Strong expertise in SEO/SEM, paid advertising, content creation, and campaign management.
- Proficiency in analytics and e-commerce tools such as Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, and booking platforms.
- Excellent communication, copywriting, and visual storytelling skills.
- Experience in budget management and cost control.
- Creative, analytical, results-driven, and passionate about luxury hospitality.
- Experience in a remote resort location is an added advantage.
