Key Responsibilities
As a Resort Doctor at Embudu Village, your responsibilities will include:
- Providing primary healthcare services to guests and staff, including diagnosis and treatment of common medical conditions.
- Managing minor injuries and responding to emergency situations promptly and effectively.
- Maintaining accurate medical records and documentation in accordance with professional standards.
- Offering medical advice and guidance to guests regarding health and wellness during their stay.
- Collaborating with resort management to ensure a safe and healthy environment for all visitors and team members.
- Participating in training programs and staying updated with best practices in resort and emergency medicine.
Qualifications and Skills Required
The ideal candidate should meet the following requirements:
- Licensed Medical Practitioner registered with the Maldives Medical & Dental Council (MMDC).
- Minimum of 3 years clinical experience, preferably in a resort or hospital setting.
- Strong background in general practice, emergency care, and primary healthcare.
- Ability to manage common medical conditions, minor injuries, and emergency situations.
- Excellent communication skills in English (both written and spoken).
- Additional certifications in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) or Basic Life Support (BLS) are an advantage.
- Caring, approachable personality with strong interpersonal skills.
- Prior experience and academic qualifications will be considered during shortlisting.
