Sandies Bathala Maldives is seeking a qualified and dedicated Locum Doctor to join our medical team. This is a key role in ensuring the health and safety of both guests and staff, while upholding the resort’s high standards of care and service.
The Locum Doctor will provide medical examinations, first aid, vaccinations, and referrals to external medical facilities when required. Key Responsibilities
As a Locum Doctor at Sandies Bathala Maldives, your responsibilities will include:
- Examining injuries and illnesses of guests and staff, providing first aid, promoting healthy living, and administering vaccinations.
- Referring patients to external medical establishments for further treatment when necessary.
- Demonstrating a high degree of awareness of Sandies culture and service standards.
- Maintaining medicine stock and replenishing first aid kits as required.
- Ensuring proper maintenance of medical equipment and hygiene in both guest and staff clinics.
- Maintaining confidentiality of guest and staff information while fostering positive working relationships with colleagues.
- Keeping accurate medical records and understanding resort insurance policies to advise colleagues appropriately.
Qualifications and Skills Required
Candidates should meet the following requirements:
- Relevant medical credentials meeting MMDC requirements.
- BBS/MBBS degree with a postgraduate degree or diploma, or equivalent medical qualification.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a medical facility; prior experience in a luxury resort in the Maldives is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a professional and patient-centered approach.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive medical situations with discretion.
- Passion for providing exceptional service in a luxury hospitality environment.
