Sheraton Maldives Full Moon Resort & Spa is seeking a dedicated and experienced Human Resources Manager to join its leadership team. The role is designed for a dynamic professional who is passionate about supporting employees, driving business success through people strategies, and ensuring compliance with global standards and local regulations.
The Human Resources Manager will be responsible for overseeing daily HR operations, including recruitment, total compensation, employee development, and compliance. Key Responsibilities
As the Human Resources Manager, your core responsibilities will include:
- Managing the full recruitment and hiring process, including sourcing, interviewing, and selection.
- Building relationships with recruitment partners and attending job fairs to attract diverse talent.
- Administering and educating employees on compensation, benefits, and claims processes.
- Designing and implementing orientation programs and ongoing training to support employee development.
- Maintaining effective employee relations through communication, counseling, and an “open door” policy.
- Ensuring HR operations comply with all legal, regulatory, and company requirements.
- Managing employee files, benefits administration, and compliance with data privacy laws.
- Promoting workplace safety, supporting investigations, and managing Workers Compensation claims where required.
Qualifications and Skills Required
To be considered for this position, candidates should meet the following requirements:
- High school diploma or GED with at least 3 years of experience in human resources, management operations, or a related field.
- OR a 2-year degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related major with at least 1 year of relevant experience.
- Proven knowledge of HR practices including recruitment, employee relations, benefits, and compliance.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Ability to train, mentor, and inspire associates across departments.
- Problem-solving abilities and the capacity to manage sensitive employee issues with discretion.
- Familiarity with Maldivian labor law and international hospitality standards is an advantage.
