We are currently seeking dynamic, self-efficient, and motivated professionals to join our Maintenance team at Jawakara Islands Maldives. These positions are ideal for individuals with technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and a passion for ensuring smooth resort operations.
As part of our Maintenance team, you will contribute to the upkeep of resort facilities, ensuring that our guests enjoy a safe, comfortable, and world-class stay. Key Responsibilities
Depending on the position, responsibilities may include:
- Supervising and coordinating daily maintenance activities to ensure efficient operations (Maintenance Supervisor/Coordinator).
- Carrying out hands-on repairs and maintenance for resort facilities, equipment, and infrastructure (Handyman/General Mechanic).
- Managing pest control activities to maintain a safe and hygienic environment (Pest Controller).
- Operating and maintaining powerhouse equipment to ensure a continuous energy supply (Power House Operator).
- Diagnosing and repairing refrigeration systems and equipment (Refrigerator Technician).
- Providing technical support to other departments when required.
- Maintaining accurate records of maintenance work and reporting to the management team.
Qualifications and Skills Required
To be considered for these positions, candidates should possess:
- A certificate or diploma in engineering (mechanical or electrical).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role within the Maldives resort industry.
- Excellent command of the English language, both spoken and written.
- Strong customer orientation with good interpersonal and communication skills.
