Sun Siyam Vilu Reef is seeking a dedicated and dynamic Assistant Learning & Development (L&D) Manager to join our Human Resources & Training department. This role is ideal for professionals passionate about nurturing talent, building capacity, and shaping future leaders within a luxury resort environment.
The Assistant L&D Manager will play a key role in designing, implementing, and evaluating training programs, ensuring that all team members are equipped with the skills and knowledge to deliver the exceptional service Sun Siyam Resorts is renowned for.

Key Responsibilities
As an Assistant L&D Manager at Sun Siyam Vilu Reef, your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting in the planning, coordination, and execution of training programs across departments.
- Facilitating engaging training sessions to develop team members’ skills and competencies.
- Designing and updating training materials using digital tools such as LMS and e-learning platforms.
- Supporting performance management initiatives through coaching and feedback mechanisms.
- Maintaining training records, monitoring effectiveness, and preparing reports for management.
- Collaborating with department heads to identify training needs and tailor learning solutions.
- Promoting a culture of continuous learning and professional growth throughout the resort.
Qualifications and Skills Required
The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications and skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Training & Development, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in training, learning & development, or a similar role within hospitality.
- Strong facilitation, presentation, and coaching skills.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other digital training tools.
- Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and e-learning platforms is a plus.
- A proactive, adaptable, and results-driven mindset with a commitment to excellence.
