dusitD2 Feydhoo Maldives is seeking an experienced and dynamic Manager – Group and Events to lead the resort’s group, wedding, and event business. This role is perfect for a motivated professional with a strong sales background and a passion for creating memorable guest experiences.
As the Manager – Group and Events, you will be fully responsible for generating group and MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) business, including leisure groups, weddings, corporate retreats, and incentive travel, while ensuring flawless operational coordination.
Key Responsibilities
As the Manager – Group and Events at dusitD2 Feydhoo Maldives, your responsibilities will include:
- Generate group and MICE business, including leisure groups, weddings, corporate retreats, and incentive travel.
- Oversee operational coordination to ensure seamless event execution and guest satisfaction.
- Collaborate with sales, revenue, F&B, front office, reservations, and marketing teams to achieve revenue goals.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and vendors to secure repeat and referral business.
- Ensure events are executed according to agreed standards, budgets, and timelines.
Qualifications and Skills Required
To excel in this role, candidates should meet the following criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 2 years in Sales or Event Management in a similar capacity, preferably within a 5-star luxury resort.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with fluency in English (other languages are an advantage).
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Familiarity with OPERA or other sales/event management systems is an advantage.
