OBLU NATURE Helengeli is seeking a skilled and dedicated IT Supervisor to oversee the resort’s information technology operations. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced IT professional to advance their resort career in the Maldives while contributing to the smooth and secure digital infrastructure of a world-class island destination.
The IT Supervisor will be responsible for ensuring reliable connectivity, maintaining systems, and providing technical support across the resort. The role is ideal for candidates with a strong background in system administration and networking who are ready to take on leadership responsibilities in a dynamic hospitality environment.
Key Responsibilities
As an IT Supervisor at OBLU NATURE Helengeli, your responsibilities will include:
- Managing and maintaining resort IT systems including servers, databases, and networks.
- Providing hands-on troubleshooting for PCs, servers, and Wi-Fi systems.
- Overseeing system backups, database optimization, and IT security measures.
- Ensuring smooth operation of property management systems and guest connectivity.
- Collaborating with various departments to provide technical support and solutions.
- Monitoring IT infrastructure performance and implementing improvements when necessary.
- Training and supporting staff on the use of IT resources and systems.
Qualifications and Skills Required
To be considered for this position, candidates should meet the following requirements:
- Minimum of 1–2 years’ experience in a supervisory or senior IT support role.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server administration, networking, database backup/optimization, and Wi-Fi management.
- Hands-on experience in troubleshooting PCs and servers.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently with a strong sense of responsibility and commitment.
- A background in hospitality IT systems will be considered an advantage.
