Job Title and Description: Chef de Partie
Meeru Maldives Resort Island is currently hiring a skilled Chef de Partie to join its culinary team. This luxury resort job invites dynamic and motivated candidates who are passionate about delivering excellent customer service and maintaining high kitchen standards.
As a Chef de Partie, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and consistency of food served in the resort’s outlets. You will work closely with the Sous Chef and support junior kitchen staff to uphold hygiene and safety standards while helping to maintain guest satisfaction through excellent culinary output.
Key Responsibilities

Take full responsibility for guest comment scores relating to your outlet, ensuring a positive dining experience.

Oversee and guide Commis chefs, ensuring they follow all relevant sanitation and kitchen safety protocols.

Complete all assigned tasks as directed by the Sous Chef with diligence and attention to detail.

Collaborate with the Sous Chef to provide solutions and alternatives in kitchen operations when necessary.

Maintain high standards of food preparation and presentation in line with resort expectations.

Support team coordination and communication to ensure smooth kitchen workflow.
Qualifications and Skills Required

Minimum of three years’ experience as a Chef de Partie or in a similar role within a comparable hospitality environment.

Relevant culinary education, training, or equivalent practical experience that demonstrates necessary skills and knowledge.

Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.

Preferred certifications include First Aid, Fire Safety, and Health & Kitchen Safety training.
