As the Garden & Landscaping Manager, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the resort’s natural charm. Your responsibilities will include:
Garden & Landscape Design & Maintenance
- Design, develop, and maintain Villa Haven’s tropical gardens and outdoor landscapes, ensuring a harmonious and visually captivating environment.
- Implement sustainable landscaping techniques, including water conservation, native plant integration, and eco-friendly pest management.
- Maintain all greenery, including trees, flowers, and shrubs, ensuring they thrive in the tropical climate.
Team Leadership & Project Management
- Lead a team of gardeners and landscaping staff, providing training, guidance, and motivation to maintain high-quality work.
- Plan and oversee all landscaping projects, from initial design concepts to budgeting, procurement, and execution.
- Conduct regular inspections of landscaped areas to ensure they remain in top condition.
Island & Resort Upkeep
- Ensure the cleanliness and upkeep of roads, beaches, and common outdoor spaces, creating a well-maintained and inviting environment for guests.
- Assist in logistics operations, including loading and unloading resort supplies, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations.
- Work closely with other departments to align landscaping projects with Villa Haven’s overall vision and guest experience goals.
Sustainability & Environmental Stewardship
- Implement eco-friendly landscaping practices, promoting biodiversity and conservation.
- Develop long-term strategies for sustainable landscape management that align with the resort’s environmental commitments.

We seek a passionate and skilled professional who values creativity, sustainability, and excellence in landscape design. The ideal candidate should have:
Experience & Skills
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in garden design, landscaping, or horticulture in a managerial role.
- Strong expertise in plant care, pest management, and landscape maintenance, particularly in tropical climates.
- Experience in maintaining outdoor spaces, including roads, beaches, and communal areas.
- A keen eye for detail and an innovative mindset, with a passion for creating stunning and functional landscapes.
Leadership & Management Abilities
- Proven experience in managing a landscaping team, with excellent leadership and training skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Education & Certifications
- A degree or certification in horticulture, landscape design, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
