Position: Commis – Canteen (Sri Lankan Cuisine)
We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Commis – Canteen, with a passion for cooking and a deep understanding of Sri Lankan cuisine. Join us in delivering exceptional culinary experiences to our guests.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of Sri Lankan dishes within our canteen.
- Ensure consistency and high standards in food quality.
- Maintain a clean, organized kitchen and adhere to food safety protocols.
- Work with the team to ensure efficient food production and service.
- Manage bulk cooking for large guest and staff events.
- Collaborate with chefs and kitchen staff to improve recipes and cooking techniques.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a comparable role within a five-star luxury resort.
- Experience working in the Maldives is an added advantage.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on teamwork.
- A passion for cooking and a keen interest in Sri Lankan cuisine.
- Bulk cooking experience is essential.
