HDC Announces Sale of 18 Beachfront and Beachside Plots in Hulhumale'

The Housing Development Corporation (HDC) has announced the sale of 18 additional land plots located along the beachfront and beachside areas of Hulhumale'.

This offering includes two premium beachfront plots: one measuring 1,454 square feet, priced at MVR 6.5 million, and the other measuring 1,261 square feet, valued at MVR 5.7 million. The beachfront land is priced at MVR 4,500 per square foot.

In addition, 16 beachside plots ranging from 1,316 to 1,584 square feet are also available, with prices set at a minimum of MVR 4,000 per square foot. These beachside properties are valued between MVR 5.3 million and MVR 6.3 million.

This new sale follows a similar land offering in September when HDC announced the availability of 16 plots, the largest of which was valued at MVR 14 million. With this recent batch, a total of 47 plots have been put on the market by HDC this year.

The sale is exclusively open to Maldivian nationals aged 18 and above, as well as 100 per cent Maldivian-owned companies.

In the past year, HDC has opened multiple rounds of land sales in Hulhumale', highlighting the growing demand for beachfront and beachside properties.
