Key Responsibilities
The Dive Instructor will be responsible for delivering safe and enjoyable diving experiences while maintaining the highest operational standards within the dive center. Key responsibilities include:
- Conduct PADI diving courses up to Dive Master level in fluent English and at least one additional language, following current PADI standards.
- Prepare and guide dives for guests while ensuring that all equipment, tanks, oxygen supplies, and safety procedures are properly arranged.
- Assess ocean conditions including currents, tides, and wave activity to ensure safe diving operations.
- Provide guests with engaging information about marine life, coral reefs, and diving safety while supporting marine awareness programs.
- Assist guests with the proper use and care of diving and water sports equipment, including rentals and maintenance.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the dive center and ensure that equipment is properly maintained according to schedules.
- Manage dive bookings efficiently, avoiding scheduling conflicts and keeping activity programs updated.
- Support additional water sport activities such as snorkeling, stand-up paddleboarding, canoeing, and guided excursions including whale shark and manta ray snorkeling, dolphin cruises, and island hopping trips.
- Interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner while promoting available activities and special offers.
- Handle minor guest concerns professionally and ensure a positive guest experience.
- Follow Aquaholics Standard Operating Procedures and assist with reporting, documentation, and other administrative tasks.
- Maintain professional grooming standards, punctuality, and compliance with safety and communication guidelines.
- Participate in team training programs and contribute to maintaining the resort’s service culture and brand values.
Qualifications and Skills Required
