Job Title and Description
OBLU XPERIENCE Ailafushi is seeking a motivated Communication Agent (Local) to join our team. This role is ideal for candidates with a passion for guest service and effective communication, ensuring that all guest inquiries and interactions are handled professionally and courteously. As a Communication Agent, you will be the first point of contact for guests seeking assistance, making a positive and lasting impression on everyone who visits the resort.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle guest inquiries via telephone, email, and other communication channels professionally and courteously.
- Provide clear, confident, and effective communication to guests, colleagues, and management.
- Maintain accurate records of messages, requests, and follow-ups in accordance with resort procedures.
- Assist with front office, call center, and guest service support as needed.
- Manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ensure high standards of service are maintained at all times, contributing to a positive guest experience.
- Work flexibly on shifts including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
Qualifications and Skills Required
- Previous experience in guest service, front office, call center, or other communication-based roles, preferably in a hotel or resort.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; additional languages are an advantage.
- Strong telephone etiquette and professional demeanor.
- Good organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Basic computer proficiency, including MS Office; knowledge of hotel PMS systems is a plus.
- Ability to remain calm, polite, and professional under pressure.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in message handling and follow-up.
- Commitment to delivering exceptional service and maintaining high hospitality standards.
