Sun Siyam Resorts is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented professional for the following position:
- Assistant Cost Controller
The Assistant Cost Controller will support the finance team in monitoring and managing costs, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and maintaining proper inventory records. This role is crucial for sustaining the resort’s operational efficiency and financial health while contributing to the overall guest experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in daily cost control operations, including monitoring expenses and inventory management.
- Support preparation of financial reports and analyze variances to identify areas for improvement.
- Maintain accurate records of stock, purchases, and related documentation.
- Collaborate with department heads to ensure cost-efficient operations.
- Utilize financial systems and Microsoft Excel to track and report on costs.
- Assist with audits and compliance requirements as needed.
Qualifications and Skills Required
- Educational background in Accounting, Finance, or Business.
- Basic experience in cost control, accounting, or inventory management.
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and familiarity with financial/inventory systems.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic resort environment.
