Mercure Maldives Kooddoo is seeking a skilled and motivated Powerhouse and RO Plant Technician to join its engineering team. Key Responsibilities
The Powerhouse and RO Plant Technician will be responsible for the following duties:
- Adjust operational controls to generate the required electrical output and regulate power flow between generating stations and substations.
- Operate and monitor power generation equipment such as boilers, turbines, generators, and reactors using both control boards and semi-automatic systems.
- Maintain and operate auxiliary machinery including pumps, compressors, fans, condensers, chlorinators, filters, and feed water heaters to support power and water production.
- Ensure that all systems are functioning efficiently and safely while following operational standards and safety guidelines.
- Troubleshoot mechanical or electrical issues and conduct preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.
- Keep accurate logs and reports of daily operations, maintenance activities, and system performance.
Qualifications and Skills Required
