Velassaru Maldives is seeking a dedicated and professional Waiter to join our Food & Beverage Service team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional dining service across the resort’s restaurants, lounges, bars, and deck areas, ensuring guests enjoy a seamless and memorable culinary experience.
This role involves preparing dining areas, providing beverage and wine services, and attending to guest needs with efficiency, courtesy, and professionalism. Key Responsibilities
As a Waiter at Velassaru Maldives, your responsibilities will include:
- Mixing, garnishing, and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to company standards.
- Preparing the dining area, including all necessary mise-en-place, for service.
- Serving food and beverages in a professional, courteous, and timely manner.
- Ensuring all guest expectations are met and exceeded during every interaction.
- Assisting guests with menu and drink selections, providing recommendations when needed.
- Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in all designated station areas, following standard operating procedures.
- Ensuring all orders are accurately entered into the system and bills are processed correctly.
- Maintaining excellent personal grooming and uniform standards at all times.
- Responding positively and flexibly to changing requirements and performing additional tasks as requested by supervisors.
Qualifications and Skills Required
Ideal candidates for this position should meet the following qualifications and skills:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar position within a five-star resort or luxury hotel.
- Fluent in English (spoken and written) with excellent communication skills.
