Location: The Residence Maldives, Falhumaafushi, GA. Atoll
The Residence Maldives at Falhumaafushi is seeking a dynamic and self-sufficient Assistant Human Resources Manager to join our dedicated team. This role is ideal for professionals with strong HR expertise who are motivated to contribute to the growth and success of a luxury resort environment.
The successful candidate will support the HR department in implementing policies, managing employee relations, and ensuring compliance with labor regulations. This is an excellent opportunity for a results-driven HR professional to play a key role in fostering a productive and positive work culture at one of the Maldives’ premier resorts.
Key Responsibilities
As an Assistant Human Resources Manager at The Residence Maldives, your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with recruitment, onboarding, and staff orientation processes.
- Supporting employee relations and fostering a positive workplace culture.
- Ensuring compliance with Maldives Labor Law and internal HR policies.
- Maintaining HR records, reports, and documentation accurately and confidentially.
- Using HR software tools, including HR Fusion and XPAT, to manage employee data and processes.
- Collaborating with management to implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the resort’s goals.
- Assisting with performance management, training, and development programs.
- Providing support and guidance to team members on HR-related matters.
Qualifications and Skills Required
To succeed in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:
- Physically fit and able to perform all job-related duties.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in Human Resources, preferably in a resort or hotel environment.
- Strong knowledge of Maldives Labor Law.
- Experience with HR Fusion software and XPAT system is an advantage.
- Exceptional communication skills and interpersonal abilities.
- Highly organized, proactive, flexible, and results-driven.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion.
- Excellent team player with self-motivation and a strong work ethic.
