The Island Host will support the Front Office Supervisor and Managers in managing daily operations, ensuring smooth service delivery, and maintaining high standards of guest satisfaction. Key Responsibilities
As an Island Host at Pullman Maldives Maamutaa, your responsibilities will include:
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the Front Office Department efficiently.
- Assist Front Office Supervisors and Managers in planning, implementing, and organizing service delivery.
- Coordinate and liaise with all departments to ensure a high standard of guest service.
- Provide personalized assistance to guests, ensuring their needs and expectations are met.
- Communicate effectively with multilingual guests, especially Chinese, Turkish, and German-speaking clients.
- Support team members in maintaining operational excellence and a welcoming environment.
Qualifications and Skills Required
To succeed in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:
- Diploma in Hospitality Management or equivalent qualification.
- 1–3 years of relevant experience in a similar guest-facing role in a luxury resort environment.
- Fluency in Chinese, Turkish, and/or German, along with English proficiency.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and professionally.
- Customer-focused, with a proactive and adaptable approach to problem-solving.
- Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills within a multicultural setting.
