JOALI BEING is seeking passionate and service-oriented individuals to join our team as Jadugar (Butler). The word "Jadugar" means "magician" in Dhivehi, symbolizing the magical experiences our butlers create for every guest. As a Jadugar, you will act as the main point of contact for guests, anticipating their needs and curating unique experiences that align with JOALI BEING’s philosophy of wellbeing. Key Responsibilities
As a Jadugar (Butler) at JOALI BEING, your responsibilities will include:
- Serving as the primary point of contact for guests, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction throughout their stay.
- Anticipating and addressing guest needs with personalized and discreet service.
- Coordinating with various departments to deliver seamless and memorable guest experiences.
- Utilizing Opera PMS and other software to manage guest information and service requests.
- Supporting the resort’s philosophy of wellbeing by promoting a balanced, mindful lifestyle to guests and team members.
- Adapting to the dynamic needs of an island environment with resilience and professionalism.
Qualifications and Skills Required
To excel in this role, candidates should meet the following requirements:
- At least 3 years of related experience in a five-star luxury resort environment.
- Strong knowledge of computing and office software; familiarity with Opera PMS is essential.
- Experience working in a remote island location is an advantage.
- Excellent communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus.
- Outgoing personality with problem-solving skills, adaptability, and resilience.
- Ability to multi-task, self-manage, and deliver service excellence under pressure.
- A positive, engaging presence and professional appearance.
