Job Title and Description
Position: Resort Nurse
Location: Coco Palm Dhuni Kolhu, Maldives
The Resort Nurse is responsible for providing day-to-day medical care for guests and team members, responding promptly to emergencies, and ensuring the health and safety standards of the resort clinic are maintained at the highest level.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather health histories, perform physical examinations, and carry out diagnostic procedures.
- Record patient medical histories and update medical records accurately.
- Attend to all emergencies, provide first aid, and accompany guests or team members to the hospital if required.
- Ensure the absolute hygiene of the clinic, including sterilization of medical equipment and tools.
- Maintain proper functioning of medical equipment such as oxygen bottles and first aid kits.
- Ensure an adequate supply of medicines and replenish first aid boxes as necessary.
- Provide medical care to colleagues who are sick or in need of attention.
- Stay updated with professional knowledge and participate in ongoing development opportunities.
Qualifications and Skills Required
- Degree in Nursing or a related field.
- Registered and practicing license in the Maldives.
- Minimum of 4 years continuous employment, including experience in the Maldives.
- Even-tempered, flexible, with excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with other departments.
