Kurumba Maldives is looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented HR Executive to join their Human Resources team. This luxury resort job is perfect for an organized professional with 2 to 3 years of experience in human resources, ideally within the hospitality industry.
As an HR Executive, you will play a key role in supporting the resort’s recruitment, payroll, and employee relations processes, ensuring smooth operations while maintaining compliance with Maldivian labor laws. Key Responsibilities

Assist with recruitment efforts, including posting job vacancies on platforms such as Job Maldives and Caterer Global, sourcing suitable candidates, scheduling interviews, conducting reference checks, and preparing offer letters and travel documentation for new hires.

Maintain accurate employee records and databases using Stem & Fusion HR systems.

Support payroll preparation by compiling relevant data and submitting reports on time for finance processing.

Monitor employee leave entitlements, send monthly leave balance reports, and follow up on team members’ returns from vacations.

Prepare monthly reports including nationality ratios and pension uploads.

Assist in contract renewals, probation confirmations, and performance evaluations, ensuring timely submission of probation reports to department heads.

Conduct exit interviews for staff at Level 3 and below, ensuring compliance with local labor laws during termination processes.

Support employee engagement activities such as sports events, monthly gatherings, and surveys in collaboration with HR and Training Managers.

Ensure compliance with Maldivian labor laws and resort policies while maintaining confidentiality in all employee-related matters.

Contribute to fostering a positive team culture by resolving employee concerns within your authority and maintaining professional communication standards.
Qualifications and Skills Required

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

2 to 3 years of HR experience, preferably within the hospitality sector.

Strong knowledge of Maldivian labor laws and employment regulations.
