Job Title and Description

Furaveri Maldives is currently hiring for multiple roles across Food & Beverage, Culinary, and Transport departments. These positions are ideal for professionals with a passion for hospitality and a desire to thrive in a luxury resort job in the Maldives.

Open Positions:

F&B Service:

  • F&B Waiter (Local applicants only)
    Seeking enthusiastic and service-oriented individuals to provide top-notch dining experiences for guests.

F&B Production:

  • Chef de Partie (Arabic Cuisine)
    Responsible for preparing and managing Arabic menu offerings with high-quality standards and presentation.

  • Chef de Partie (À la Carte)
    Delivers exceptional à la carte dishes, maintaining consistency and creativity across all meals.

  • Head Baker
    Leads the resort’s baking operations with expertise in artisan breads, pastries, and desserts.

Transport:

  • Boat Crew
    Supports daily guest and logistics transfers with professionalism and care.

  • Boat Captain
    Navigates guest and staff transfers safely across the Raa Atoll and nearby regions.

Key Responsibilities

Each position has a set of core duties based on department and expertise. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

F&B Waiter:

  • Greet and serve guests in a friendly, courteous manner

  • Take orders accurately and provide prompt service

  • Set up and clear tables with attention to cleanliness and detail

  • Collaborate with kitchen and bar teams to ensure seamless service

Chef de Partie (Arabic / À la Carte):

  • Prepare and cook high-quality meals in the assigned section

  • Ensure food presentation meets luxury resort standards

  • Supervise kitchen assistants and ensure timely delivery of dishes

  • Maintain hygiene, cleanliness, and kitchen safety protocols

Head Baker:

  • Plan and execute daily bakery production

  • Create a variety of baked goods, pastries, and breads from scratch

  • Train and supervise junior bakery staff

  • Ensure consistency in product quality and freshness

Boat Crew:

  • Assist in docking, undocking, and safe guest movement

  • Maintain cleanliness and safety of vessels

  • Provide assistance during excursions and transfers

  • Coordinate with resort teams for timely operations

Boat Captain:

  • Operate and navigate resort boats in compliance with safety regulations

  • Perform routine checks and basic maintenance of vessels

  • Ensure smooth and safe transfers of guests and staff

  • Lead and train crew members when necessary

Qualifications and Skills Required

Furaveri Maldives seeks candidates who are dedicated, adaptable, and ready to contribute to a five-star resort experience.

Minimum Requirements for All Roles:

  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar role within the hospitality or resort industry

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multicultural team

  • Strong communication skills and a positive, service-oriented attitude

  • Flexibility with working hours, including weekends and holidays

  • For Boat Captain roles: valid marine certification and proven navigation experience in Maldivian waters
