Job Title: Reservations Manager
We are seeking a dynamic and committed Reservations Manager who thrives in a fast-paced environment and brings energy, strategy, and leadership to our team. This role is vital in ensuring our guests receive seamless booking experiences and our resort maximizes occupancy and revenue.
The ideal candidate is enthusiastic, analytical, and possesses a deep understanding of hospitality operations and revenue management. You'll be working closely with the sales, marketing, and operations teams to optimize room distribution and pricing strategies, while mentoring a reservations team that delivers friendly, efficient, and accurate service.

Key Responsibilities
As our Reservations Manager, your key duties will include:

Managing and optimizing daily reservation operations, ensuring guest satisfaction from booking to check-out.

Developing pricing strategies and inventory management techniques to maximize room revenue.

Monitoring market trends, demand patterns, and competitor pricing to make informed decisions.

Collaborating with other departments to align revenue goals and occupancy targets.

Utilizing Opera or similar systems to manage bookings, availability, and distribution.

Generating and analyzing performance reports including occupancy, booking trends, and revenue.

Overseeing all distribution channels, including OTAs, GDS, and direct bookings.

Implementing overbooking controls, cancellation policies, and special offers.

Training, supervising, and motivating the reservations team to maintain a high level of service and operational efficiency.
Qualifications and Skills Required
We’re looking for candidates who meet the following criteria:

Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business, Finance, or a related field.

At least 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within a Maldivian resort environment.

Proficiency in Opera and other reservation or revenue management systems.

In-depth knowledge of pricing models, market analysis, and demand forecasting.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
