Sales Executive Position Overview
We are currently seeking an experienced Sales Executive who will play a pivotal role in driving the resort’s sales efforts while ensuring smooth administrative operations. This position is ideal for a highly motivated individual with a passion for hospitality and sales, eager to thrive in an international luxury resort environment.
As a Sales Executive, you will contribute to the success of VARU by Atmosphere through your strong administrative and organizational skills. You will work closely with the sales team and other departments to help maintain efficient operations and assist in the execution of sales strategies that will elevate the resort's market presence.
This role offers an exciting opportunity to be involved in the core functions of the resort’s sales activities, from maintaining client databases and tracking sales to assisting with FAM trips and site inspections. You’ll be at the heart of the resort’s operations, ensuring a smooth flow of communication between departments and building relationships with key stakeholders in the travel industry.
Core Responsibilities of the Sales Executive
As a Sales Executive, your role will involve a diverse range of tasks and responsibilities aimed at supporting the sales team, optimizing efficiency, and driving growth. Key duties include:

Administrative Support:
Provide essential administrative support to the sales team by organizing schedules, meetings, and assisting in the preparation of sales materials. You will help keep the sales tracking files up-to-date and ensure that all necessary documentation is in place for the team to execute their strategy efficiently. -
Sales Database Management:
You will be responsible for maintaining and updating the client database, ensuring that the resort’s key clients, potential leads, and partners are tracked accurately. This will enable the team to leverage this data to strengthen relationships and target the right audience. -
Sales Coordination:
Collaborate with the sales team and other departments to streamline operations and contribute to the overall efficiency of the sales function. Your role will include assisting with planning and coordinating various sales activities, ensuring that objectives are met and targets are achieved. -
FAM Trips and Site Inspections:
The Sales Executive will play a key role in organizing and preparing for FAM (Familiarization) trips and site inspections for potential partners and clients. This includes coordinating with other departments to ensure that the property is presented in its best light during these visits and ensuring that all logistics run smoothly. -
Client Interaction:
You will assist in fostering strong relationships with travel partners, agents, and clients. Your role will involve communication, follow-ups, and assisting the sales team in executing initiatives that drive both short-term and long-term sales goals. -
Collaboration with Sales Team:
Your success in this role will depend heavily on your ability to collaborate effectively with the sales team and other resort departments. You will assist in implementing sales strategies and ensure smooth communication and alignment across different teams.
Qualifications and Skills Required
To succeed in the Sales Executive role at VARU by Atmosphere, we are looking for candidates who possess the following qualifications and skills:

Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar sales role within the luxury hospitality industry, preferably with a five-star resort.

Fluent in written and spoken English; additional language skills are a plus.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and build relationships with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders.

An understanding of the unique dynamics of island life and the ability to adapt to the challenges and opportunities that come with working in a remote location.

Prior resort sales experience with a focus on the Indian Ocean region or similar destinations is an advantage.
