Role Overview
As a Bartender at JOALI BEING, you will play a vital role in delivering exquisite beverage experiences to our guests, supporting our wellness philosophy through thoughtfully crafted drinks that inspire joy and connection. You will be responsible for the preparation, presentation, and service of beverages across our dining venues, with a focus on creativity, cleanliness, and personalized service.
This role is ideal for a beverage enthusiast who sees mixology as an art form and is passionate about curating memorable experiences through drink offerings that align with our wellness ethos.
Key Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including wellness-infused mocktails and functional drinks aligned with the resort’s holistic philosophy.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring all tools and materials are well-stocked and properly stored.

Use creativity and expert knowledge to design seasonal or thematic beverage menus in collaboration with the Food & Beverage team.

Ensure compliance with hygiene, health, and safety standards, maintaining five-star service standards at all times.

Provide exceptional service to guests by engaging with them professionally, answering questions about ingredients, and making personalized recommendations.

Uphold JOALI BEING’s standards of wellness, mindfulness, and sustainability in every aspect of service delivery.

Assist in stock inventory, waste control, and ordering supplies as needed.

Train junior staff and share mixology expertise in a mentoring role when required.
Required Qualifications and Skills
To be successful in this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:

Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role at a five-star luxury property or high-end hospitality venue.

Excellent command of spoken and written English.

Proven experience in mixing, garnishing, and serving drinks with precision and creativity.

In-depth knowledge of bar tools, drink techniques, and beverage trends.

Professional appearance and a positive, engaging personality that connects naturally with guests.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to work efficiently under pressure.

Demonstrated team player attitude and a proactive mindset.

Self-managed and well-organized, with solid problem-solving skills and the ability to multi-task effectively.

Preference will be given to candidates who have experience working in a remote island or resort environment.
