WE ARE HIRING – ROOM ATTENDANT (HOUSEKEEPING)
Fihalhohi Maldives is currently seeking dedicated, detail-oriented, and professional Room Attendants to join our Housekeeping team. This role is essential to ensuring that our guest rooms and common areas are immaculately clean, well-maintained, and welcoming at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
✔ Room Preparation & Cleaning – Ensure all guest rooms are cleaned, sanitized, and set up according to the resort’s high standards. This includes making beds, changing linens, replenishing towels, and maintaining amenities.
✔ Attention to Detail – Inspect rooms for cleanliness, proper arrangement, and any maintenance issues. Report any necessary repairs to the relevant department.
✔ Guest Service – Provide courteous and prompt service to guests, responding to any housekeeping requests efficiently and professionally.
✔ Public Areas Maintenance – Maintain cleanliness in hallways, lounges, and other guest-accessible areas, ensuring a pleasant and inviting atmosphere throughout the resort.
✔ Laundry & Linen Handling – Assist with the washing, drying, ironing, and proper storage of linens and guest clothing as needed.
✔ Compliance with Safety Standards – Follow resort health and safety policies, including handling cleaning chemicals responsibly and adhering to hygiene regulations.
✔ Team Collaboration – Work closely with fellow housekeeping staff and other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences.
Who We Are Looking For
We are searching for motivated individuals with a strong work ethic and a passion for hospitality. Ideal candidates should possess the following qualifications:
🔹 Experience: Previous experience in housekeeping within a resort, hotel, or similar hospitality setting is preferred.
🔹 Education & Training: Formal training in housekeeping or hospitality-related studies will be considered an advantage.
🔹 Language Skills: Basic English proficiency (both verbal and written) is required to communicate effectively with guests and colleagues.
🔹 Work Ethic: Ability to work efficiently under pressure, multitask, and maintain high standards of cleanliness.
🔹 Flexibility: Must be adaptable to changing schedules, including weekends and holidays, based on operational needs.
🔹 Passion for Service: A positive attitude, self-motivation, and a guest-centric approach are essential to thriving in this role.
