Job Position: Human Resources Officer

Role Overview

As a Human Resources Officer, you will play a key role in managing HR operations at Villa Nautica. Your responsibilities will focus on employee engagement, recruitment support, administrative tasks, and ensuring a smooth and efficient HR department. You will be the first point of contact for employees, assisting with HR processes, organizing team events, and ensuring a positive and professional work environment.

Key Responsibilities

✔️ HR Operations & Employee Support

  • Serve as the first point of contact for all team members visiting the HR office or reaching out via phone.
  • Provide up-to-date information to department heads and employees regarding HR policies and procedures.
  • Process all HR-related paperwork accurately and on time, maintaining a professional and organized HR office.
  • Maintain and update all HR records, including personnel files, leave records, and employee exit interviews.

✔️ Employee Engagement & Recognition

  • Organize and actively participate in all HR-related social activities to ensure a positive work culture.
  • Prepare and deliver birthday cards, gifts, and cakes for team members on their special day.
  • Assist in the Team Member of the Month selection and awarding process.
  • Regularly update the team members’ notice board with important HR announcements and activities.
  • Organize and manage the monthly team members’ committee meetings and other engagement initiatives.

✔️ Recruitment & Onboarding

  • Support the hiring process by assisting with interviews, documentation, and communication with new hires.
  • Arrange travel and transfer logistics for new employees, ensuring a smooth transition to the resort.
  • Prepare and distribute welcome letters and announcements for newly hired team members.
  • Assist with training and onboarding programs for new employees to ensure a seamless integration into the workplace.

Qualifications & Requirements

To be considered for this role, you should have:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Learning & Development, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Previous experience as an HR Officer, Administrator, or in a similar HR role.
  • Knowledge of hiring and onboarding processes (preferred).
  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and interpersonal skills.
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
  • A professional, well-groomed appearance.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
