Job Title: Housekeeping Attendant
Job Overview
As a Housekeeping Attendant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that the highest standards of cleanliness, comfort, and luxury are maintained throughout the resort. You will be responsible for maintaining immaculate guest rooms and public areas, ensuring that every guest experiences the world-class luxury and comfort that Raffles Maldives Meradhoo is known for.
Primary Responsibilities
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of guest rooms, guest floors, and pantries according to the Housekeeping Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Perform housekeeping duties in public areas, laundry, linen rooms, and flower rooms as required.
- Ensure that rooms and public spaces are always presented in perfect condition, reflecting the luxury and elegance of the Raffles brand.
- Respond promptly to guest requests, ensuring the highest level of personalized service and guest satisfaction.
- Handle and maintain housekeeping equipment efficiently, ensuring safe and proper use of cleaning chemicals.
- Assist in inventory control by managing linen, cleaning supplies, and guest amenities.
- Work closely with other housekeeping team members and departments to ensure seamless service and coordination.
- Provide accurate information about the resort and Accor properties to guests when required.
Candidate Requirements
To be successful in this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:
- Previous experience in a luxury island resort in a similar position is preferred.
- Fluency in both Dhivehi and English is essential.
- Ability to adapt to island life and remote working conditions.
- Strong understanding of housekeeping processes and high-end service standards.
- A flexible approach to work, with willingness to take on different shifts as required by the department.
- Physically fit and able to work in outdoor conditions under the sun for extended periods.
- A strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
