Current Job Opening at Velassaru Maldives
Position: Ramadan Chef (Temporary – Maldivians Only)
As a Ramadan Chef at Velassaru Maldives, you will be an integral part of our Kitchen team, responsible for preparing and serving the highest quality food for our guests during the holy month of Ramadan. Your role will focus on providing exceptional culinary experiences while maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and sanitation.
Requirements / Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in the culinary field, specializing in Maldivian cuisine.
- Expertise in food hygiene practices and HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points).
- Hardworking, with a positive attitude and a pleasant personality.
- A self-motivated team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work under pressure while maintaining high standards of food quality and hygiene.
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare all food orders for your section, ensuring they meet agreed-upon standards and are delivered on time.
- Maintain a clean and hygienic kitchen environment in line with company hygiene regulations.
- Assist the Chef de Partie in the efficient running of the section, ensuring smooth kitchen operations.
- Responsible for the upkeep of kitchen equipment in your area, ensuring everything is in good working condition.
- Uphold personal grooming standards and wear a clean, neat uniform at all times.
- Contribute to the overall guest satisfaction by producing dishes that exceed expectations and provide exceptional quality.
