As a Guest Service Assistant, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional experiences to our guests. From their arrival to departure, you will ensure they feel welcome and cared for in every aspect of their stay. Candidate Profile
We are looking for a highly motivated and passionate individual with the following qualities:
- Experience: A minimum of 2 years in luxury hotels or a similar high-end hospitality environment.
- Educational Background: A graduate degree is preferred.
- Skills & Passion: You must possess a passion for delivering exceptional customer service, demonstrate creativity in guest engagement, and maintain high standards of professionalism and grooming.
- Languages: Fluency in Italian is a key requirement for this role, as you'll be catering to a diverse guest demographic.
- Motivation: A willingness to continue learning and growing with the company, enhancing your skill set while working with one of the world's leading luxury brands.
Job Description & Responsibilities
As a Guest Service Assistant, you will:
- Manage Reception Operations: Ensure smooth and efficient operations at the front desk, including guest check-ins and check-outs.
- Guest Interaction: Be the first point of contact for guests, assisting with inquiries, providing information about resort services, and responding to requests promptly.
- Guest Satisfaction: Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction by ensuring personalized and exceptional service throughout the guest's stay.
- Room Knowledge: Be knowledgeable about the hotel’s room categories, rates, and packages to ensure you can assist guests in making informed choices.
- Up-selling: Maximize room occupancy and promote additional services and facilities of the resort to enhance guest experiences.
- Currency and Payments: Handle payments and follow the hotel's credit policies regarding cash and credit card transactions.
- Health & Safety: Comply with all fire, health, and safety regulations to ensure the safety and well-being of guests and staff.
- Training & Development: Participate in training programs to further develop your skills and stay updated with the resort’s offerings and procedures.
- Cross-Department Support: Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless experience for guests.
Candidate Requirements
- Experience: Previous experience in a customer-focused role within a luxury environment is preferred.
- Attitude: A positive attitude, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to high standards of service.
- Skills: Strong IT proficiency and the ability to handle cash transactions responsibly.
- Teamwork: Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with the team to ensure guest satisfaction.
